KCA "Adopts" Middletown Christian School

The student body, families, and staff of Konocti Christian Academy were excited to present to Mrs. Anna Mayfield, Principal of Middletown Christian School, seven backpacks stuffed full of encouragement and love gifts for the seven students of MCS who lost their homes in the Valley Fire.  Each KCA class “adopted” the one or two students of MCS from the same grade level, collected funds and special gifts, made cards, and filled backpacks with lunch boxes and school supplies. 

Earlier in the week, the KCA students had the privilege of taking an exciting and informative “behind the scenes” tour/field trip of the workings of CalFire while they were still encamped at the Lake County Fairgrounds.
