Pi Day Was A Success!

On Wednesday, 3.14 at 1:59 the students at KCA gathered for our Pi Day assembly. The outreach project for this event was to collect canned and dry good items for our local food shelter. Each classroom did an excellent job bringing in items for the food drive. The total of goods collected was 1005! Great job students! The winning class, collecting 371 items was the K/1 grade class. They won a pizza party for collecting the most cans out of all the classes. The 2/3 grade class will also have a pizza party since they collected over 314 (Pi) cans!
